"Is it better to be feared or respected? I say, is it too much to ask for both?" - Tony Stark

Premiered in 2008, “Iron Man” is the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series. Iron Man’s frequent presence in the MCU films has made the character one of the most recognisable superheroes of the last decade. However, the playboy-businessman-scientist Tony Stark and his armor-clad alter ego made their first appearance over 50 years ago in the 39th issue of Marvel’s comic-anthology series, Tales of Suspense. This is a 1963 original copy of Tales of Suspense #39 graded CGC 8.0. An attractive collectible with only moderate defects.
